Thank You (June 2025)

Hello Reader,

I’ve been writing for most of my life, but it always felt like my work was confined to the space around me—seen only by those closest to me. I never truly evaluated the worth of my stories, my ideas, or even myself.

Luckily, someone in my life believed in me. They helped me realize that I’d never know how others might receive my work unless I shared it.

At first, it was just a test—a challenge to myself through writing battles (if you’re unfamiliar, look them up; they offer valuable feedback and a great community). Then, I decided to write a short story for my friend’s birthday, Life of Syn. That little novella was so well received—passed from one document to another—that it gave me the confidence to publish.

No, it’s not professionally edited, and yes, I formatted it myself. But to now see it out there—to watch it grow (40 orders in one month for my little ebook!)—has been genuinely fulfilling.

It taught me something important: even the work I consider "perfect" might not resonate with everyone, and the work I feel could be better might still be deeply loved.

You never know what kind of response you’ll get if you don’t put yourself out there. So here I am—

Putting myself out there and grateful for the courage it takes, every single day.
